What is Hoops Pro?

Hoops Pro is a shooting challenge on an outdoor court at night, among the lit-up skyscrapers. Drag back, check the trajectory and let go: the ball flies towards a hoop that moves to a new spot after every basket and, later on, starts sliding sideways. Every basket gives you three extra seconds, and clean shots that don't touch the rim are worth double. Sink a few in a row and your score takes off.

How to play

• Drag back from anywhere and release to shoot: the further you drag, the harder you shoot. The dots show the start of the trajectory.
• With the keyboard: left and right arrows to aim, hold space to charge the power and release it to shoot.
• You have 60 seconds; each basket adds 3 seconds.
• A basket is worth 1 point, a “swish” (without touching the rim or backboard) 2 points; points are multiplied by your baskets in a row (up to x5). A missed shot resets the streak.
• After each basket the hoop moves to a new spot; from the sixth basket it also moves sideways.
• With two players: alternating shots (player 1 pink, player 2 light blue), 10 shots each with no time limit; basket 1 point, swish 2, no multipliers. If it's tied, keep going in pairs of shots until one is ahead; still tied after 20 shots each, it's a draw.

Tips

• Shoot with a high arc: a ball dropping from above goes in more easily.
• Check the direction of the dots before letting go and adjust a little at a time.
• When the hoop is moving, shoot as it's about to head back towards the middle.
