What is Penalty Bomber?

Penalty Bomber is a spot-kick challenge in a floodlit stadium: three taps to shoot, one for direction, one for height and one for power. The goalkeeper studies every shot and dives, and gets better at reading you with each penalty. Shots aimed high and into the corners are the hardest to save, but get it slightly wrong and the ball goes wide or over the bar. Score as many goals in a row as you can to boost your multiplier.

How to play

• Tap, click or press space (or Enter) three times: the first tap locks your aim left or right, the second the height, the third the power.
• Power in the red zone sends the ball higher: you risk shooting over the crossbar.
• Every goal is worth 1 point, +1 if it's near the post and +1 if it's high (up to 3 points in the top corner), multiplied by your goals in a row (up to x4).
• The goalkeeper reads your shot better with every penalty; the more power you use, the less time he has to reach it.
• Three misses between saves and shots wide end the series.
• With two players: players take turns shooting (player 1 red shirt, player 2 light-blue shirt), 5 penalties each; if it's level, keep going in pairs of shots until one scores and the other doesn't. Whoever scores more goals wins; with two players there are no multipliers and no 3-miss limit.

Tips

• The middle is easy, but that's where the keeper gets to most easily: aim close to the posts.
• Keep the power just below the red zone: a fast ball that still stays on target.
• Don't wait too long: the aim speeds up with every shot, so find your rhythm.
