What is Magnetar?

Magnetar is a spaceship with no side thrusters: it steers using nothing but magnetism. In space there are red planets with a plus charge and blue planets with a minus charge, and the ship's core can switch from one to the other in an instant. Flip the charge at the right moment to get pulled or pushed, dodge the fiery asteroids and collect the crystals. The higher you go, the faster the ride gets.

How to play

• Tap the screen, click or press space to flip the core's charge from plus to minus and back.
• A planet with the same charge pushes the ship away, one with the opposite charge pulls it in: the closer it is, the stronger the force.
• Each crystal collected is worth 1 point, and every 30 metres of flight is worth 1 more point.
• The climb gets faster and faster and the asteroids more frequent.
• The game ends if you touch an asteroid or a planet, or leave the sides of the screen.

Tips

• Watch the dashed lines: yellow ones point to planets pulling you in, white ones to planets pushing you away.
• Don't flip the charge too often: small taps at the right moment are enough to move you.
• When two planets face each other, a charge matching both keeps you in the middle.
