What is Neon Drift?

Neon Drift is a night race on a track floating above the city, with edges glowing blue and pink. The car speeds up on its own: you only decide which way to steer, with one finger. Passing really close to the edges without touching them is a drift that charges your nitro; when the nitro is full the turbo kicks in and your points double. The track gets twistier and narrower the further you go.

How to play

• The car drives forward by itself: hold down (finger, mouse, space or left arrow) to steer left, let go to steer right.
• Every 5 metres travelled is worth 1 point.
• Staying close to the edge of the track without touching it earns drift points and fills the nitro bar.
• When the nitro is full the turbo kicks in for 3 seconds: the car goes faster and drift points double.
• Each lightning bolt you collect is worth 10 points and charges a quarter of the nitro.
• The game ends if the car leaves the track.

Tips

• Mix short taps and pauses: holding or letting go for too long sends the car into the edge.
• Before a bend, move the car to the outside: you'll have more room to turn.
• Drifting pays off but it's risky: only skim the edges on straight sections until you get the hang of it.
